Welcome to The New Runway
Size-Inclusive e-commerce Platform, 11 Honoré, Debut’s at New York Fashion Week
Kicking off New York Fashion Week, 11 Honoré, a size inclusive e-commerce site and first of its kind shopping destination for designer clothing sizes 10 to 20+, unveiled an all-new runway experience powered by commerce partner, Shopify. With a strong belief that anyone who has the desire to participate in fashion and express themselves sartorially should be seen, heard and included, 11 Honoré not only curates high-end designer clothing in plus sizes, but also works hand in hand with top designers and brands to help facilitate the size expansion of their collections. By doing this, 11 Honoré is eliminating the formulaic faults of the fashion industry and re-designing its future to be more diverse and inclusive. With a product offering from nearly 90 designers, the company is at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, supporting brands to expand their size range so that the fit is seamless.
“11 Honoré strives to be on the right side of the conversation about where fashion is headed and is honored to be a part of creating a real change. Last night’s show is a culmination of innovation, technology and fashion.” says Patrick Herning, Founder and CEO.
The runway commerce experience was entirely powered by Shopify. This marks the first time that 11 Honoré’s runway looks were available for purchase for the audience during the show. Runway looks displayed had unique Shopcodes, allowing attendees to easily scan Shopify-enabled QR codes on their smartphones and access the corresponding product pages for checkout. This mobile-first shopping experience directly connects the runway to commerce.
Brands featured in the show, styled by Elizabeth Stewart, included: Adam Lippes, Altuzarra, Azeeza, Badgley Mischka, Baja East, Brandon Maxwell, Camilla, Christian Siriano, Chromat, Cushnie, Christopher Kane, Derek Lam, Dima Ayad, Fleur du Mal, Haney, Huishan Zhang, Jason Wu, JC Obando, Jonathan Simkhai, Lela Rose, Marchesa, Marina Rinaldi, Prabal Gurung, Preen By Thornton Bregazzi, Reem Acra, Roland Mouret, Ryan Lo, Sachin & Babi, Sally Lapointe, Tanya Taylor, Tome, Victor Glemaud, Yigal Azrouel, Wingate, Zac Posen, and Zero Maria Cornejo.
Created by fashion and luxury strategy consultant and former technology executive, Patrick Herning, 11 Honoré has a strong vision for the Middle East where the brand recently launched in late 2018. “As a brand, we are excited to expand our presence in the Middle East and provide women luxury offerings in sizes that previously weren’t available. The immediate success of 11 Honoré over the past year proves there is a desire and need for luxury apparel in US sizes 10 -24, and we look forward to providing women in the region a chance to experience the best designer options and specialty collections designed exclusively for her.” says Patrick Herning, Founder & CEO.
11 Honoré is now shipping to the Middle East including U.A.E., Kuwait, Bahrain and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
