The mission of ALTAROMA is to promote the excellence of the Made in Italy and the designers craftsmanship scouting and training to support young talents and new brands.

These Five days just passed have enlivened the Capital with: fashion shows, meetings with designers in the Showcase and with the competition for emerging talents “Who is on Next?” This year the jury sees creative directors of the caliber of Pierpaolo Piccioli and Alessandro Michele.

With the return of the competition “Who is on Next?”, in collaboration with Vogue Italia, Altaroma affirms its role as a scouting project aimed at promoting new talents, providing the ideal framework for an innovative approach to design, while maintaining a strong connection with artisanal traditions and Made in Italy excellence. 

The Spring-Summer 2023 collections had as two main features: the attention to the Craftsmanship and the concept of gender fluid. 

Emerging designers have rediscovered the value of hand-made work. 

On the other hand is clear the common idea of many of the emerging trends that the definition in Male or female, is now obsolete 

To stand out, especially the “fluid” proposals of Reamerei, Saman Loire and Dadamax
